I left my window open before I went to bed.
Down came a roaring rain beating on my windowpane.
With each drop that fell, a bit bounced in.
Fill my room with its abundance.
At once, I sat up but then I stopped.
I thought to get the mop.
Instead, I laid back my head.
letting the rain into my bed
Moist, cool drops caressed my skin,
anointing me from deep within.
It felt so good I beg it stopped.
And then ring went my alarm clock.
